Understanding and identifying discrimination based on origin

Discrimination related to origin is not always visible. It can be expressed directly, but also in more diffuse ways, through decisions, behaviors, or habits rooted in everyday professional life. Understanding these mechanisms requires paying attention to what truly influences our perceptions: our mental representations, our biases, and the way we interpret situations. In this training, participants will learn how to establish a clear framework, decode the cognitive mechanisms at work, and identify risk situations, including the most subtle ones. Through analyses of concrete case studies, role-playing exercises, and group discussions, they will develop clear reference points to recognize weak signals, step back from their practices, and better grasp inclusion challenges within their work environment.
To prepare for the training
Theoretical content, excerpts from texts, and examples of communication messages will be shared with participants to ensure they have a minimum foundational knowledge base. Exchanges may also take place with the trainers in order to assess the context and level of each participant.
